Nashville Hotels vs Airbnb: There Is No Comparison

May 20, 2016

It’s no doubt that Nashville is one of the hottest tourist destinations in the nation due to it’s amazing

attractions and life the city brings. Along with all the fun it has also caused a shortage in hotels bringing the prices to skyrocket especially on the weekends. Nashville hotels were out pricing hotels in Time Square per night leaving some guests pretty upset.

There are approximately 1500 new rooms under construction nearing completion which will start to level out the market, but still visitors are putting up with a temporary spike in rates. Many Nashville visitors are resorting to short term leases such as Airbnb for their upcoming stay in Nashville since the hotel spike will be going well into the summer. Visitors are getting fully accommodated homes for around the same price per night as the smaller less accommodating hotel room.

Short term leases seem to be really ramping up in the Nashville area with so many great local neighborhoods that it has to offer. The Nashville construction market is on fire. There is literally not enough inventory to keep up with demand.
